Who’s Who

I could have called this site FilmSnob, but I don’t think it’s as accurate. While I do have strong opinions about movies — and yes, I am always right — I would not say I am a snob,  simply because I admit that some of the movies I enjoy could fall into the category of “Mainstream Dreck.” But not very often.

I have a real job, so I don’t get out to pay full price for get fucking robbed see many movies on their first run. I see a lot of DVDs. Old ones. New ones. Kid ones (I get stuck with the nephews a lot). I’m choosy… but not because of any reasonable outline pointing me in any one direction. I don’t usually read critics, except for Catherine Zeta-Jones movies, in which case I am simply enjoying the inevitable storm of adjectives employed to describe how fucking completely useless she is as an “actress.”

I’m not a professional blogger. And I’m not a total prick. If you read my reviews and you take my advice and see just one or two of the movies I recommend, I think you stand a good chance of A) enjoying yourself; B) broadening your horizons; or/and C) coming back for more. Take my advice: I’m smart…and I know that deep down, beyond all the BS Hollyweird Hype you have been force fed all your life, you are too. Or you could be, if you’d just stop the madness and say NO to Spielberg, Bruckheimer, Michael Bay and all the rest of the a-holes dulling your tastebuds and numbing your brains.

So, yeah. Maybe I am a snob.
